I... don't know the customs around here, so I'm just going to announce it.

For anyone hearing this who doesn't know me-- my name's Clove.

Um. In a little while. On the twenty-third of October, actually. Cato and I are getting married.

I don't know how weddings work here or where you're all from. I know things can be pretty different. Where we're from -- District Two of Panem -- the wedding itself is a pretty quiet thing. Little ceremony, short vows. That being said, we do need someone to officiate. I don't know who that would be, here. If someone could help with that... I'd appreciate it. A lot. I know someone mentioned it a little while ago. So, yeah. That'd really help.

After the ceremony, we have a meal. Where I'm from, it's a big thing, but it's casual. We'll have lots of food and anyone who wants to come is invited. If you know us, if you don't, whatever. Everyone is welcome. Come, eat, mingle. Really, it's as simple as that.

So. Yeah. Thank you for your time.

We're getting married on my birthday. Make it easy for Cato to remember the date. [Okay, she might be kidding a little with that reason.

Then you just have to make sure he doesn't skimp out on presents just because you're simplifying the dates for him.

[Even though, really, there isn't much she wants or needs here. She still had to give him a hard time about it.]

You're sure he's the one, though, right? You have to be careful these days. [Or any days. Anya is too used to seeing happy young girls with their lives turned upside down thanks to careless men. And she's been that girl far too many times herself.

[It isn't even said in the throes of young love. It's, instead, fairly simply stated. They'e been through too much together, in their world and here. If Cato isn't the right person for her, then that person doesn't exist.

Have you known each other for a long time?

We kind of grew up together. We've been friends [or as close as Clove ever made to a friend] since I was thirteen. Been sort of dating since I was fourteen.

Oh - I get it. One of those childhood sweetheart gigs. So you knew each other before coming here, then. Like Tony and Pepper. [Maybe that made some of the wedding fever make sense, now. It would still mean something later.]

Yeah, pretty much. We kind of planned on doing something like this before we came here, so... We've been here long enough we decided to just do it.

[Just do it. Gee, guess what else that reminds her of?]

I see! So, have you had sex yet?

Oh, yeah. Awhile ago.
