Okay, she's had a lot of questions lately. Valentine's Day and that whole week... It wasn't unkind, but it made her think too much. There were too many uncertainies. The ones with Cato... She didn't feel like thinking about.

But Katniss. She can talk about some of that.]

What do you all do for a living, where you're from? Or what were you going to do? Does everyone in your area do it?

In Panem... your district says a lot about what your job will be. Not always, but probably. Like me... If I hadn't gone to the Games? I'd probably have been the foreman in a factory. Or an overseer of a quarry.

And what you do... When did you learn to do it? And from who?

I'm the Avatar, and I'm kinda the only person who does that. But I'm also the nomad. If I wasn't that... Well I heard that I'd be good at taking care of animals or making jewelry!

[But he's wary in his answer, likely having heard some details about such things about her world from Katniss at the spa.]

I've been an airbender since I was little, and I learned from Monk Gyatso. It wasn't until 12 that I found out I was the Avatar, and I got instructions from different bending teachers plus my past lives.

I'm hoping to become a doctor. [Hadn't Ami once said she was a doctor in her world?]

Why a doctor?

I own a shop. A magic shop. And I'm an exorcist. It's kind of a departure from what I was going to do but I like it well enough.

[She has some idea of what magic means, and "exorcist" has been mentioned to her before, but the actual meaning of it all... She doesn't even try. Not in this place. There are too many strange things here.]

And no one cares it's not what you were going to do?

How did you learn it?

I've spent the last few years doing some bookkeeping. I kept track of the expenses of the people I worked for.

Did they spend a lot?

[Because, really, that doesn't sound difficult at all.]

I'm a ninja. If you have the qualifications for becoming one, you can usually join the ninja academy. But not everyone in my area does it, tons of people stick to safer things. You have the freedom to choose what to do in Konoha.

I learned it from the ninja academy and instructors. And then I honed my skills under Guy-sensei's watch! [ Most of these definitions are probably not very helpful. Sorry, Clove. ]

We attend an academy where I am. Some of us, at least, but our parents choose to send us there.

Well Im an xorsitexorcist in training. Ive been learning it at cram school with all my classmates. Not everyone does it tho - its kinda a family thing for a lotta people tho [now he thinks of it]

Someone else here is an exorcist, too. They didn't mention any sort of school, though, but it makes sense there would be.

What do you do when you catch them?

I worked as a park administrator back home. I operated and maintained the robots that cleaned and patrolled the park with my co-worker Yamase. He's the one who taught me how to maintain them. [Talking about Yamase makes him think back on his final, unpleasant memories with the man but he tries to push them aside for now]

Not many people were employed there are the office since not many people were needed for it and not many people needed the job. [He only needed it to pay for his tuition for the school he was going to not graduate from.]

[A place where there are more jobs than workers. That isn't something Clove can imagine, really.]

Was it difficult?

[She remembers the boy from Three. How he programmed the bomb like a child skipping rope. She'd felt like an idiot when he'd talked about it. So easily, as if he expected the pack he'd been picked up by to understand every word he was saying.]

Well, my job's to keep a handle on Ponyville's weather! Running the weather team's tough work, but those clouds aren't gonna move themselves.

[Plus, she can totally clear the sky in ten seconds flat.]

But what I really love doing is pulling off jaw-dropping stunts left and right! The weather's just a side thing until I finally get into the Wonderbolts.
